South West Divas part of MR & MISS RASCASSE 2011 brawl

It’s all systems go for the Mr & Miss Rascasse gala  on the 8^th of October 2011. The event will be held at a joint Club Roxy’s and Club Rascasse in Melville, Johannesburg. Spreading across three dance floors this is set to be the biggest event to be held in Melville this Spring.

Mr & Miss Rascasse has been defined by the organisers as the NITE OF SWAGGER which will carry the most insane line-up of DJs and performances. Outside of 12 hunks and hotties that will be contesting for the big crowns and prizes, the night will see the increasingly popular South West Divas rocking a steamy set on stage and sharing it with F.A.B (South Africa’s fastest rapper), Bionik, and BuckFam of Step-Up or Step-Down fame.

After much deliberation and engagement with their fans, the South West Divas have decided to remand their forthcoming album. “Initially we were going with ONE DREAM STAND which played pun on One Nite Stands versus the pursuit of a Dream” Cleo Ice Queen said. “But our fans were not feeling it”, she added.

“We wanted something which will empower and inspire at the same time”, Diamond-Rose added.  After recording the St Bosseratti produced single POWER OF A WOMAN the group came to a new decision, naming the album POWER OF A WOMAN.

PRETORIA – On Saturday (30 July 2011) the South West Divas hit the road again. This time they headed to the City of Tshwane where they had a radio interview on TUT FM right before pleasing their fans at DrumRock in Soshanguve.

Among others to step on stage was the talented and acrobatic Flex Boggie. The crowds were also  fed the sounds of Vigil-Ant who cooked up a storm on the decks.
